Saturday 15 February 2020 Asha Niketan Hospital celebrated its Hospital Dayin commemoration of World Day of the Sick.The day began with a short prayer service, praying for all the patients suffering from different types of illnesses. specialprayers wereoffered for the people who are currently affected by the deadly Cornonavirus.

In the evening, the hospital staff and students of Asha Niketan school of Nursing performedbeautiful cultural programme. Dr. Asha Vijaywargiya, senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist was the chief guest, in her speech, she spoke about her life journey in the hospital how it has helped thousands of patients.

Sr.Sushmita ekka administrator of the hospital delivered the keynote address which emphasised that“Health care should be a vocation and not merely a profession so that medical personnel can touch the lives of people, thus bring about holistic healthcare in their approach,” which boosted the staff and students. Thereafter she expressed her gratitude to each staff for there service.
